  NEXT STOP: WORLD NO. 1 From a small 5 year old ambitious boy to a 19 year old star badminton player from India is the journey of this small town boy from Dhar, a city in Madhya Pradesh. Yes indeed, he is none other than Priyanshu Rajawat, 19th ranked in India and 292nd ranked in the world men's singles category at this very young age. When Priyanshu Rajawat was interviewed by SportifyBadminton and was asked about his greatest motivation of all time, his reply to it was, "Gopi sir and my parents are my biggest motivation. For whatever little I have achieved yet." With a number of final plays and wins in various All India Tournaments he is also representing India internationally since 2016. FIRST OF BADMINTON Olympics is an international sports meet where hundreds of countries meet and compete against each other in numerous sporting events. There are major three types of Olympics namely: Summer, Winter and Paralympics. One of the famous sports among all is Badminton from the Summer Olympics.  On 5th June 1985 Badminton was officially introduced as a medal sports in the Olympics. IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch delivered the news to International Badminton Federation (now Badminton World Federation) ex-president Craig Reedie, to the delight of millions who followed the sport religiously The campaign for badminton’s inclusion in the Summer Games was initiated in 1965.
