Day-4 Olympics

 Day-4 After tomorrow's opening ceremony the event picked up speed as various games were played today. Results of today are as follows: 1. Basket Ball 3X3 - today were the pool matches in basketball. A total of 16 matches were played. In the men's pool, 8 matches between Serbia, Poland, China, Latvia, Japan, Belgium, ROC, and the Netherlands were played. In the same way, 8 matches were played in the women's pool too including countries ROC, Romania, Italy, China, Japan, Mongolia, USA, and France were played. no team was eliminated. 2. Archery : the Republic of Korea won the gold medal in the Mixed Team Event winning by 5-3 from the Netherlands which makes them eligible for the silver medal. Mexico won the bronze medal. 3.  Day-3   On day 3 sports like archery, equestrian and rowing got their first event started among which shooting also took place, and the players got ranked today. The following are the results of the day: 1. Equestrian: Today was the 1st horse inspection  2. Shooting:  10m Air Rifle Women's Pre-Event Training and  10m Air Pistol Men's Pre-Event Training were held today 3. Archery: today's scores are as follows   *Men's individual ranking rounds top 10 athletes  *Women's individual ranking rounds top 10 athletes  4. Rowing:   * Men's singles sculls had 6 heats in which out of 6 teams 3 are qualified for the quarterfinals and rest and qualified for the repechage in each heat. Day-2 On the very second day there was a morning session of 10m shooting followed by some baseball and football games. The results of the day are as follows: 1. Shooting * 10m Air Pistol men's and women's official training was held today. *10m Air Rifle men's and women's official training was held today 2.  Day-1 Today was the first day of the Olympics. Only two sports were played for starters today 1. Softball:  today 3 opening matches were played. First between Australia and Japan in which Japan won by 8-1 The second match was between Italy and United States which was won by U.S.A. by 2-0 And the third match was played between Mexico ad Canada which Canada won by 4-0 2. Football: Today 6 opening matches were played in the women's category  First match- Women's Group E Great Britain vs Chile. GRB won by 2-0 Second match- Women's Group F China vs Brazil. BRA won by 5-0  Third match- Women's Group G Sweden vs United States. SWE won by 3-0 Fourth match- Women's Group E Japan vs Canada. Draw match by 1-1 Fifth match- Women's Group F Zambia vs Netherlands. NED won by 10-3 Sixth match- Women's Group G Australia vs New Zealand. TOKYO OLYMPICS 2020

THE MOST AWAITED EVENT IS HAPPENING   As we all know, the famous and most awaited sporting event "OLYMPICS" starts from 23rd July 2021. With 46 sports ( 33 competitions and 339 events held across 42 competition venues)  the Olympic torch would be lit up on the 23rd which is the official opening day of the tournaments but some sports like softball and football begin from the 21st. And due to the COVID-19 situation, for the first time, the Olympic  Games would be held spectator less.   With a total of 11,656 athletes from all over the globe from 206 countries worldwide, the event started with the same spirit of sportsmanship, the spirit of brotherhood remains untouched after all these tough situations too.  On the first two days before the torch march, only 3 sports have begun beforehand that is from 21st July 2020 namely: football, softball, and shooting. *ALERT* COVID-19

 NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED IN ANY OF THE VENUES DURING THE EVENT Due to worsening effect of corona virus and rapidly increasing number of Covid positive cases in japan, the government of japan has decided to announce a state of emergency. this would suppress the flow of people exchange in the country to prevent spread of virus either in or from outside.  Today a 5 party meeting including IOC ( international Olympic committee ), IPC ( international Paralympic committee ), Tokyo Olympic organizing committee, TMG ( Tokyo metropolitan government), and GoJ ( government of japan ) had a long 3 hr. meeting on the above mentioned conditions of Covid-19 in  japan and other parts of world.  Currently no spectators would be allowed to evidence the events.
