VIKTOR AXELSEN ENTERS FINALS

 A day to go for "The FINALS"


Last evening was a blast. All the semi finals were very well played and today all the finals would be played. VIKTOR Axelsen of Denmark and NG KA LONG Angus of  Hong Kong would play the men's singles final. Women's singles final would be played between TAI TZU Ying of Chinese Taipei and Carolina MARIN of Spain. 


Whereas in men's doubles the Malaysian pair GOH  V Shem/ TAN Wee Kiong would play against the Chinese Taipei pair LEE Yang/ WANG Chi Lin.  Women's doubles final would be played between Jongkolphan and Rawinda of Thailand versus Greysia and Apriyani of Indonesia. The Thailand pair
would play against the Indonesian pair in The Mixed Doubles Finals.


The Indian team did not perform too well. Saina, Srikanth and the men's doubles pair consisting of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/ Chirag Shetty managed to reach to the Quarter finals but could not go further. Other Indian players also played well but in vain. Hoping to see the Indian team in better form in the next tournament i.e. Toyota Thailand Open starting from 19th January 2021. Wishing them a very good luck with whole heart.
