After tomorrow's opening ceremony the event picked up speed as various games were played today. Results of today are as follows:
1. Basket Ball 3X3- today were the pool matches in basketball. A total of 16 matches were played. In the men's pool, 8 matches between Serbia, Poland, China, Latvia, Japan, Belgium, ROC, and the Netherlands were played.
In the same way, 8 matches were played in the women's pool too including countries ROC, Romania, Italy, China, Japan, Mongolia, USA, and France were played. no team was eliminated.

2. Archery: the Republic of Korea won the gold medal in the Mixed Team Event winning by 5-3 from the Netherlands which makes them eligible for the silver medal. Mexico won the bronze medal.
3. Artistic gymnastics: today men's qualification rounds were held.
4. Badminton: today the Indian men's doubles pair won by 2-1. Sai Praneeth, unfortunately, lost today's league match.
Many men's and women's doubles and singles league matches were held today
5. Baseball: Canada USA and Japan won their respective matches today.
6. Beach volleyball: today's winners of preliminary rounds were:
men's pool A: ROC
men's pool A: Norway
men's pool D: Brazil
men's pool D: Netherlands
women's pool A: Canada
women's pool A: Switzerland
women's pool C: Brazil
women's pool C: China
women's pool F: Japan
women's pool F: Switzerland 

7. Boxing: following events of the round of 32 were played today in the following events:
men's feather: 12 matches
Women's feather: 5 matches
men's welter: 7 matches
women's welter: 2 matches
men's heavy: 1 match
men's super heavy: 1 match
8. Cycling: Gold: Richard Carapaz (ECU)
                  Silver: Wout van Aert (BEL)
                  Bronze: Tadej Pogacar (SLO)
9. Equestrian: Today was the inspection 
10. Fencing: Men's Sabre individual Gold: Hungary
                                                           Silver: Italy
                                                           Bronze: Korea
                    Women's Epee individual Gold: China 
                                                              Silver: Romania 
                                                             Bronze: Estonia
