Indians ft. Paralympics
The Paralympics started on the 24th of August 2021. India is off with a great performance. With a total of 10 medals yet India is in the 24th position among all the competing countries.
For starters, the top most country on the scoreboard is china with a total of 132 medals including 62 gold, 38 silver, and 32 bronze to date. This is followed by Great Britain with a total of 80 medals and then Russia with a total of 74 medals.
Then the very next day that is the 30th of august 2021 we won a gold in women's shooting 10m air rifle shooting SH1 by Avani Lekhara and again a gold medal in Men's Javelin Throw F-64 by Sumit Sumit. Followed by 2 silver those are: Men's Discus Throw - F56 by Yogesh Kathuniya and Men's Javelin Throw - F46 by Devendra. And to end the day a bronze at last in Men's Javelin Throw - F46 by Sundar Singh Gurjar.
On 31st we earned 3 medals which are as follows: Silver in Men's High Jump- T63 by Mariyappan Thangavelu, a bronze in Men's High Jump - T63 by Sharad Kumar, and a bronze in P1-Men's 10m Air Pistol SH1 by Raj Singh.
